What DXpeditions are, why operators chase rare entities for DXCC, and how the BloomWX panel sources from NG3K's ADXO list with click-to-target propagation coloring.
A DXpedition is when operators travel to a rare DXCC entity to put it on the air for a week or two. Often remote islands, small entities, sovereignties so seldom-activated that anyone holding them has the most-wanted DXCC slot in the hobby.
DXCC ("DX Century Club") is the foundational ham radio award: confirm contacts with 100+ DXCC entities. Top operators have worked all 340; most spend years tracking down the last 10-20.
